The fourth installment of the Dawn of War series returns to classic 40K RTS territory — a 70+ mission epic campaign across the 41st millennium.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is the next chapter in the long-running real-time strategy series. Developed by KING Art and published by Deep Silver, the game is set to release on December 3, 2026 for Windows PC via Steam.
The campaign brings back the iconic Blood Ravens Space Marines as a playable faction and throws them into a galaxy-spanning conflict alongside the ancient Necrons, the brutal Orks and — for the first time in the series — the Adeptus Mechanicus.
With more than 70 epic campaign missions, the story is built around escalating skirmishes, base construction, resource control and the classic Dawn of War loop of capturing and upgrading strategic points.
Dawn of War IV is the first mainline Dawn of War RTS since Dawn of War III (2017), returning to the tactical, cover-based squad combat and base building that defined the original Dawn of War.
